Randy Koch is a successful technology and data executive with experience in leading start-up and multi-national companies. As CEO, Randy has led Facteus’ growth to successfully monetize data for 1,000+ financial institutions, by leveraging Facteus’ innovative synthetic data platform. Randy is widely considered a data thought leader, authoring the “Data Monetization Road Map,” which is the standard methodology for securely monetizing data.
Prior to Facteus, Randy was President of CommerceGuard (a joint venture between Samsung, GE, Siemens, and Mitsubishi), a global technology and data company, with operations in the US, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Randy graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).

As Chief Financial Officer, John Dettra oversees all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations. He is a seasoned financial executive with a strong background in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions (private and publicly-traded), budgeting and analysis, financial management and operational experience in high-growth companies.
Prior to joining Facteus, John served as CFO of Revelar, a med-tech startup that developed a POC device and assay for non-invasive breath analysis with an initial focus on disease prevention and screening.
Prior to joining Revelar, John served as the CFO of Evanta Ventures, a private equity owned company serving top executives as the market leader in collaboration and leadership development platforms. During his tenure at Evanta, the company realized significant revenue and profitability growth prior to being sold to CEB, Inc. for nearly $300 million, resulting in a return to shareholders of over four times in just over 3 years.
Prior to Evanta, John was CFO at Pulse Health. Prior to Pulse Health, he was VP of Finance and Administration at Unicru.
John is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and is a University of Oregon graduate.
Co-Founder, SVP of Product
As the Vice President of Product for Facteus, Jonathan oversees overall product strategy. A born technologist and entrepreneur, Jonathan started building websites at the age of 13 and later developed professional experience in corporate finance and accounting for technology companies, working with some of the web’s biggest brands including Facebook, YouTube and Linden Labs.
Most recently, Jonathan was director of membership services and merchandise for a direct marketing company, where he optimized customer acquisition and conversion strategies through multivariate testing, A/B testing, web analytics and user testing.
Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of California Santa Barbara.
SVP of Marketing
Steve Shaw is Senior Vice President of Marketing at Facteus, where he is responsible for the overall marketing, branding and communications strategy for the company. Shaw has over 20 years of marketing and communications experience with a broad range of technology firms, ranging from small tech startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to joining Facteus, Shaw was the Vice President of Strategic Marketing for the Digital Banking Group at Fiserv, focused on expanding awareness for the company’s integrated online banking, payment and mobile banking services; developing innovative product roadmaps; and supporting the launch of a new Fiserv brand. Before Fiserv, Shaw served as a Director and Product Strategist at CheckFree where he was responsible for the overall product marketing and marketing communications activities for the company’s Electronic Banking Services division.
Shaw has also held marketing and communications positions at Corillian Corp., a leading provider of online banking services, and The Weber Group, a top PR firm. Shaw has an MBA from The University of Portland and a B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University.
VP, Corporate & Product Strategy
Lorn Davis leads corporate & product strategy at Facteus. Lorn brings in-depth experience in strategy development and product management from his work at SeraCare Life Sciences where he was the Senior Director of Data Products & Analytics and a member of the Executive Leadership Team that led the business to a successful exit at the end of 2018. Prior to joining SeraCare, he worked as a consultant leading data analytics teams engaged with large government and private organizations. Lorn earned his BA in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College (NM) and his MBA from Harvard Business School with a focus on technology and entrepreneurship.
SVP, Data Partnerships
At Facteus, Chad heads the data growth and acquisition team across all verticals and industries. Prior to Facteus, Chad ran all of sales in North America for CENTRL; a privacy/compliance and vendor risk software platform. Over the course of his career, Chad has held sales and management roles at Fiserv, CashEdge, Salesforce, and GlobeOne/Meed and managed Tier 1 relationships across financial services, technology, retail, and insurance clients globally.

Noel earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Warner Pacific and further studied Software Engineering at Oregon Graduate Institute.
